Step 04

We Plant

This is where we really stand out. Every tree is professionally installed following Texas A&M planting guidelines. We dig the hole to proper width and depth, backfill with enriched native soil, install stakes for wind protection, and build a mulch ring for moisture retention.

Step 05

You Enjoy

We walk you through a watering schedule and first-year care specific to each species you purchased. Then sit back and watch your new landscape grow. Your property value just went up and your outdoor living space just got a whole lot better.

Planted to Texas A&M Guidelines

Proper planting technique is the difference between a tree that thrives and one that struggles. Every tree we install follows research-backed best practices.

Proper Hole Size

Hole dug 2-3x the width of the root ball and to the exact depth of the container. Never deeper -- this prevents root suffocation.

Root Flare Exposed

The root flare (where trunk meets roots) sits at or slightly above soil level, preventing crown rot.

Enriched Backfill

Native soil is amended with quality compost to improve drainage and provide nutrients in our alkaline Hill Country ground.

Professional Staking

Two stakes with flexible ties allow the trunk to move naturally while preventing wind throw during establishment.

Mulch Ring

3-4 inch mulch ring extending to the drip line retains moisture, regulates soil temperature, and suppresses weeds.

Deep Initial Watering

Every tree gets a thorough soaking at planting time to eliminate air pockets and begin the establishment process.
